Phew! We’ve had a busy year so far. We kicked off January at Sundance, both inside — watching scintillating flicks and hanging in the UGG lounge at Village at the Lift — and outside, putting our new, lightweight winter boots to the test with a hike in single-digit temps.


From Park City we hightailed it to N’awlins (ahem, New Orleans) for the Super Bowl, where we rubbed shoulders with some of the biggest shoulders in the industry at our NFL Lounge. The Bears’ running back, Matt Forte, actually requested that we make cleats — with sheepskin — as it’s the only thing that keeps him warm in Chicago winters (We’re on it Matt!)


Last stop: Californ-i-a, for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival (aka SBIFF), where we took in a few films, and had the pleasure of awarding the ever-talented Jennifer Lawrence “Outstanding Performer of the Year.”

After countless hours of film-festing and Super-Bowling we’re ready for some much-needed R&R. UGG team, signing off …

Nautical By Nature

Seersucker. Popped collars. Schooner Regattas. What do they all have in common? An abundance of boat shoe clad prepsters. Our new boat shoe? Far from it. Gone are the predictable leather laces and drab, snooze-worthy color palette (*yawn). Enter the Cantrell: A sun-faded chukka with a seaside feel that sports crisp canvas, creamy nubuck, jute-wrapped soles and a nautical striped lining. Go ahead, rock the boat. We dare you.
